Let me take you on a journey of awareness and awakening to the power of the natural world. You will begin to have a feeling for the consciousness that is alive and aware in the garden. Make friends with the brothers and sisters, friends and lovers that are in the natural world. Understand the true meaning of dominion, learn to become the master, or head of household if you will. These brothers and sisters, friends and lovers are here to serve you, that's what brings them joy. That's their purpose in life. We have been given this gift of dominion by the maker of the universe. We must take responsibility for the fact that nature reflects us, what we think and feel is seen around us. There is consciousness in the soil. The trees are aware. The plants, the bugs, the birds, wind, rain, sun and moon, are all our allies and relatives.
I will teach of the rhythms of nature, the phases of the moon, the seasons of the sun. There is also a natural rhythm in the time of day. This will all be focused upon the elements in our local area. Each place has its own natural rhythm.
I will share with you my knowledge of soil, composting, worm farming, planting cycles, sustainability practices, and much much more. This will be integrated in a balanced activity schedule. In other words, how to expend the least energy for the most results.
Organic farming is truly a way of right livelihood, I believe that we should seek to do no harm to all life. This practice leads to the sustainability of the whole. It becomes the highest good for all concerned.
So come play with me on my Maui Farm, we will have lots of fun. Don't get me wrong, this is serious business too. These are skills that you can take with you to make a good living with. One of my farm rules is;
Follow your joy
Find your balance
And make hay while the sun shines
You will come to truly know what this means.
