Mark's Maui Farm

ALOHA, and welcome to Mark's Farm

This is a example of my handywork

you how I've done this.      I givMark's Farm is 90% self sustaining, I grow nitrogen fixing trees, Gliricidia. We make plenty ofcompost, we have nice rich worm castings, and plenty of leaf droppings for the carbon. Sometimes we bring in horse manure and seaweed. The horse manure comes from a stable down the road at a nominal cost, $15 a truckload. The seaweed we gather from the seashore for free. The nitrogen fixing trees lining all the fields provide nitrogen rich leaves, which are used for the compost pile, and sometimes we chip the branches and leaves together for nitrogen rich mulch. So the only thing I buy from the fertilizer store is calcium, and sometimes kelp meal. These pages will show e thanks to Mother Nature for all these blessings from the land
